What is included in this master class?
With a length of 5:30hr, this is the most comprehensive of the three master classes. This class includes five lectures where Ingrid invites you to explore her drawers to see exactly what supplies she uses to create her colorful paintings. From watercolors, pigments, inks, water and mediums like gum arabic, she will show you how to create, organize and store your palettes, and the importance of keeping records of your practice.
After covering some basic color theory, Ingrid will teach you how to make your own watercolor paint, and create a mixing chart to explore the possibilities of your palette. Learn to mix your colors directly on the paper while creating textures and painting a galaxy. Paint a Koi fish with a floral background and learn how to apply advanced techniques to create paintings full of texture and depth. As a bonus, Ingrid invites you to observe how she paints a large floral painting in her home studio.

Ingrid te invita a explorar sus cajones para ver exactamente qué materiales utiliza para crear pinturas tan. Supplies & Color Theory
During the first section of this class, Ingrid will open the drawers of her studio to show you all the supplies she uses to paint vibrant watercolors. This is followed by some color theory, how to organize & prepare palettes and the importance of keeping records.
Make watercolor paint
Have you ever wonder how watercolor paint is made? Ingrid will show you how she makes her own paint and deals with the challenges of each pigment. This project also includes how to frost a glass palette to make the process more efficient.
Watercolor Mixing Chart
After talking about color theory in the first section of the class. Ingrid will explain how to make a watercolor mixing chart with 'the perfect color palette' or the colors of your choice. You will be able to download a template for this project.
Two Galaxies
One project, two different techniques. Ingrid will teach you how to paint a watercolor galaxy using techniques like glazing with color, the use of water & inks, splattering and more. A great way to learn how to mix your colors directly on the paper while creating all kind of textures.
Koi Fish & Flowers
A project to put everything into practice. With this painting, Ingrid include techniques like layering with masking fluid, painting with washes, creating textures, the use of watercolor inks, acrylics inks, watercolor powders and gold paint.
Large Floral Painting
As a bonus, Ingrid invites you into her home studio to observe how she paints a large floral painting. She describes her process from the gathering of inspiration, planning, setting the space, personal meditation practice and of course, painting.

About your teacher
Ingrid Sanchez, also known as CreativeIngrid is a Mexican-British watercolor artist, designer, author and teacher based in London, U.K.
She is known for her colorful watercolors inspired by nature, as well as her vibrant and energetic brushstrokes. Her favorite themes include flowers, moons and the sea. Ingrid has being leading creative workshops for over seven years in different parts of the world, including Barcelona, New York, Amsterdam and London.
Through commercial and licensing projects, her brand 'CreativeIngrid' can be found worldwide on a variety of products like art prints, stationery and home decor accessories. Her first solo book 'DIY Watercolor Christmas' was published in 2021.

1. Who is this course for?
For anyone interested in learning and deepening their practice of watercolours.
This workshop focuses on how to use the supplies in your studio to generate vibrant paintings.
Beginners will benefit from a deep introduction to the use of different art supplies, color theory and how to create their own palettes, color charts and personal records to start their journey.
Intermediate and advanced students will be able to see how I make my own paint and create unusual mixes directly on the paper. With each demo, I will explain the use of different mediums like gum arabic, inks, acrylics, watercolor powders and gold paint. You will be able to see in action some of my signature techniques like layering with masking fluid, splattering and more.
2. In what format is the course? Classes are pre-recorded, so you can take them at your own pace. All my videos include optional subtitles in English.

Every lecture has a section for comments that I will be constantly checking and answering.
If I see that there are questions that are repeated frequently, I will add another lecture to answer and provide advice in specific areas.
5. How long will I have access to my course?
From the date of your purchase, you will have unlimited access for two years. If you have not finished your course within this time, just contact me and I will happily make it available again if the course remains active.
6. What materials do I need?
You will find a PDF with a list of supplies and suggestions of where to buy them.
7. What level do I require for this course?
This class is suitable for all levels. If you feel that you don’t need the introduction and theory of the class, you can skip those lectures, but in my experience even advanced students can benefit from watching another artist work using a different style.
8. What is the difference between your in-person and online classes?
My in-person workshops are four hours long and hosted in my studio, where I guide my students to paint one main theme, usually loose florals or botanical moons.
These online master classes are designed to cover a wider range of themes, from the use of supplies, suggestions on how to gather inspiration, the importance of posture, and insights into how I work in my studio, including several demos where you can take a closer look at how I work.
